TBD Tea is the brainchild of web designer and tea enthusiast Catriona “Cat” Madill Buhayar and her husband, tea enthusiast and occasional attorney Ben Madill Buhayar.  We both have a long held affection for tea; Cat has carried peppermint tisanes around with her in a thermos for much of her life and Ben inherited a love of teatime from his British grandparents.

All of our teas are carefully selected for delicious flavor.  They are single estate teas meaning that they come from one tea plantation, and are not blended unless the specific information is noted in the product description.  There are no outside flavors or scents added to our teas.

Both live in beautiful Portland, Oregon: unofficial tea capital of the Americas. Portland offers many fabulous opportunities to drink wonderful loose-leaf tea.
